Overview
UPWP describes transportation, land use, environmental and water quality planning and management activities conducted by OKI. UPWP includes a description of the planning work and resulting products; who will perform the work; time frames for completing the work; cost of the work; and sources of funding.
The unified aspect of the program — as seen in its title — means that it covers all transportation planning activities that are foreseen at the time of its preparation, regardless of funding source or implementing agency. The USDOT requires this document and it must be developed annually.
FY26 Unified Planning Work Program outlines the scope of activities to be undertaken by OKI in fiscal year 2026, which begins July 1, 2025 and ends June 30, 2026.
