Overview
OKI’s ICC Committee serves as the technical advisory committee to the OKI Executive Committee/Board of Directors. ICC advises on special purpose projects, prepares recommendations, and provides technical guidance to the OKI Executive Committee/Board of Directors and OKI Staff on a range of topics.
This includes the following areas:
Additionally, the committee advises on and assists with acquiring inventory required for continuing transportation planning in keeping with the Unified Planning Work Program, and other agreements for all areas of planning.
On recommendations by the ICC, OKI’s Board president appoints ICC membership yearly. The president may appoint members whose broad technical knowledge and experience in transportation planning, regional planning, or related fields would be of benefit to the ICC. The committee’s officers comprise a chair, first vice chair, second vice chair, all of whom serve on a yearly term basis with a two-year term limit. Secretary is appointed by council. As an advisory committee, ICC members are not required to be a trustee of the council.
