Overview

OKI is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity. This is accomplished by enforcing EEO-related federal/state laws and regulations; Gubernatorial Executive Orders and state employment policies; and procedures related to civil rights, affirmative action and non-discrimination.

OKI does not discriminate against employees, including hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leave of absence, compensation, training or applicants for employment based on any protected status.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Race, age, color, ancestry, religion
  • Marital status, veteran status, pregnancy
  • National origin, genetic information or physical or mental disability
  • Gender, sexual orientation, gender identity
  • Results of genetic testing
  • Service in the military

All managers, employees, contractors, and vendors must comply with this EEO policy. This policy is given to all employees, various recruitment sources, and is displayed at the OKI office.

Any issue related to equal employment opportunity can be discussed with the Employment Opportunity (EEO) Officer, Jessica Ondrovic, who is designated by the Executive Director. Anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed a violation of this policy must immediately report it to the EEO Officer.
