Overview

The Tristate Transportation Equitable Opportunity Team (TTEOT) is a group of more than 60 volunteers from a broad range of transportation providers and planners. The group’s goal is to identify how best to serve the transit needs of the elderly and individuals with disabilities.

OKI is the designated recipient for Section 5310 federal funds, which classify states and designated recipients as direct recipients. Eligible sub-recipients include private nonprofit organizations, states or local government authorities, or operators of public transportation.

5310 funding is provided by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The governors of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana designated OKI as recipient of these funds for the Cincinnati urbanized area. OKI oversees and implements the Coordinated Plan for the eight counties in the OKI region. And OKI’s public involvement specialist is support staff to the TTEOT Committee.
